Burning The Gavle Goat (Is A Game)
This isn’t quite the way I wanted to make this video. What I wanted when I started the project was to make the video just include a long, ten minute shot of the lead-up to one of the years it was burned. I figured that footage – which has been live streamed for five years! – would be archived somewhere online.
And it isn’t! What the hell!
There were some documentary videos, but they’re all credited, and credited in Swedish, which would make it challenging to communicate to the people who own them if I could use them. Instead, I took pictures from news stories about Gavle to make the video part of this video.
