In the past few days I have written tweets that startled me with how they spread. I have my phone set up to buzz on twitter alerts, because I am a sponge for attention and being mentioned or faved makes me feel a little like I do actually matter and deserve to be. Then I tweet something like these:

And they explode, compared to most of what I have to say.
It’s a little disheartening, in some ways. I mean, I didn’t make the Trapper Keeper, and didn’t even really recognise it. I just thought that say, Misty and Andi and Mispy would think it was cute and they’d want to see it. Now, it’s one of the most popular things I’ve ever said.
It’s an odd little window of time. I wonder if it’s just a function of good luck and timing.
