When Fox and I were married (the 29th of May, 2004), we thought that we’d be getting on a plane (on June 1st) to head to America after a day of waiting (May 30th). Somehow in all of our planning, we’d completely failed to notice that May had 31 days. We attended a 5th Dawn prerelease, where I performed decently well (not amazingly), but the key victory was that my sealed pool was lucky enough to contain a foil Platinum Angel. At the time, a very chase card, it was also of a first generation of foils designed to have targeted foiling in the artwork.
That foil Platinum Angel has never been played with since that day. It went into Fox’s art folder, and there it has lived.
