I’m beginning to wonder if I don’t, in fact, have typical automatic web-crawler spambots trying to lodge comments anywhere they’ll wind up getting links back to Google, and instead have just some highly OCD fans.

Okay, I set you up with an anti-spam plugin. Not sure how it will work out, as I haven’t tried it before, but it comes highly recommended so I guess we’ll see,
