Reviews, Views, Links, and Free Stuff!

I’m not really very good at getting people to engage with my work. On the other hand, I do hope to put my work in front of people who can enjoy it, so I’m thinking I need to change this urge as best I can. I understand reviews and link-back stuff can improve my stakes, and get people to check out my stuff in audience spaces I may not otherwise have attention. Also, if more people play my games, I’ll learn what makes them good or bad and I’ll be able to make them better.

Inspired by Dan of Size Five Games, I figure if I give away a copy of my game, and the person I give it to inspires one person to buy the game, then I’ve broken even and two people have gotten their hands on my work.

So here’s the deal: If you have a blog, post on a review site or place like RPGnet, or like podcasting or making videos or whatever and think you’d like to share your opinion or review some of my games, email me, and I’ll see about getting you a copy of DOG BEAR or The Botch. Note that DOG BEAR requires about three players and The Botch works best with four or five players so if you can’t get that kind of player base together, you might find it hard to play them.

I would really like to give you access to a copy of Middleware or Lily x Blade to check out and talk about, but unfortunately both those games require enough shuffling that I can’t really offer them as print-and-play options. :(
