Keep your stuff organised! Keep it organised in a way that works for you! Keep it organised so that when you have an idea, you know where you can throw it, to come back to it later! Even if it’s just a matter of keeping a small little sandbox on your computer which winds up being full of text files called bum.txt and boboies.txt, that’s okay, if that works for you! You don’t need perfect hierarchy version control for everything you do, you just need a system that you can lean on when the human meaty parts of your body stop working as optimally as you’d like.
Now excuse me, I gotta go comb two hard drives for some files I misplaced.
