I had something to say about Nanowrimo based on some guy on some blog complaining that the Nanowrimo forums aren’t very good and don’t do a lot of critical interrogation of deeper themes and shit, but when I sat down to work on my response I realised that it was incredibly easy to stop giving a fuck about what he had to say. I can’t even remember who it was, or where the blog post was, and I can’t muster the enthusiasm to go find it.
If you’re complaining about Nanowrimo failing to teach the best way to write a thing, you’re kind of missing the whole point.
