Drabble – Creativity

“If you want to make things, you should just make things,” he said, in the tiny window on the big black screen surrounded by documents and details and sketches and inspirations. “There are just too many ways to create and share that you shouldn’t be doing that.”

The day planner mocked me with its vast open space and its tight lines I don’t want to write on because that’ll be messy. A design document and toolset sit on the back of the desktop, lurking beneath distractions.

It’s 10:30 in the morning.

How am I going to avoid this feeling today?
